Speaker Bios:

Prior to founding Parascope Creative, Jacob McCarthy served as the Assistant Director of Product Development at Cashman Photo Enterprises, Senior Publication Designer of Vegas INC magazine at Greenspun Media Group and Public Affairs Supervisor at Nellis Air Force Base. Jacob is currently a freelance creative professional, an instructor at UNLV and an executive board member of the West Side Photography Club. He began his career as a photojournalist in the United States Air Force before retiring in 2008. Jacob has been proud to call Las Vegas his home since 2006."

Brandi Scharrer started her career in print and web design then quickly moved to television where she designed graphics, sets for TV shows and styled on air talent. After her experience in television she moved to designing and crafting better user experiences for web applications. Today Brandi focuses on software design and product development, committed to aesthetics and crafting a great experience. When she is not working on software for others she focuses on her own Las Vegas based startups and volunteers at the local animal shelter photographing homeless animals.
